Crepe Myrtle is such a versatile shrub it can be a bush or a tree depending on how it’s trimmed. It also comes in many colors. I ran all over town looking for just the right color of lavender Crepe Myrtle for my arrangement. I rushed home and used it in my arrangements. But for some reason in my photographs it turn pink. So I just change the color in my painting like I often do. Next season when I do my setups I will just use stems from my own lovely Crepe Myrtle. The figurine of the girl reacting over her broken jug is Lladro.
