This painting was done just for the joy of painting. Sometimes I like to see just how fast and loose I can paint. This is when understanding and knowing the colors on your palate is important. Different colors have completely different levels of intensity. One example would be to compare the intensity of Prussian Blue a 10, Cadmium Lemon a 1/2 and Cobalt Violet a 3. With this information you can mix the exact color you want quickly. Selfish Judy only paints her subjects, her way, for herself!
