In this still life I return to my favorites. Rose’s in a glass container. The replica of the Water and Moon Kuan-Yin Bodhisattva from the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. Fruit is added to fill out the composition. Roses work well in a painting because it is so easy to change their color on a whim.
