Iris when cut, immediately start to wilt and become droopy. I used photographs of Iris growing in my yard for my drawing. I started out by arranging Iris shaped box blocks in a composition from my imagination. Then I worked Iris leaves to pull everything together to complete my composition. Once I knew where I was going with the composition and drawing the actual painting was the easy part.
